In the kitchen…
Meet Our Chef, Rosanna
Rosanna brings a wealth of experience to our kitchen, with many years spent cooking in early learning environments. Her passion for nourishing young children is reflected in every dish she prepares. Some of our much-loved menu items include homemade lasagne, sausage rolls packed with hidden veggies, and wholesome granola served with Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit.
At Stanmore Kindergarten, we see the kitchen as the heart of our home—a space filled with the comforting aroma of home-style cooking that welcomes you the moment you arrive. Food is a meaningful part of all cultures, and we embrace this by creating opportunities for our community to come together over shared meals. We aim to help children build a connection to where their food comes from, and to experience the joy of cooking and eating together.
Our daily menu is guided by seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce, including fresh picks from our own garden. We cater for individual dietary and cultural needs, ensuring every child is included. Whenever possible, meals are prepared in front of or with the children, inviting them to take part in the process and feel the pride that comes from preparing something special to enjoy with others.
